Minister invites media to attend personal presentation at WTM London

As Angola makes its first official appearance at World Travel Market (WTM) London, accredited journalists are invited to attend a dedicated press conference with H.E. Márcio de Jesus Lopes Daniel, Minister of Tourism of the Republic of Angola, alongside representatives from African Parks and Luiana Plains Safaris.

With international visitor arrivals increasing by 27.9% in 2025 to 223,140, Angola is entering a new phase of tourism development. The government has identified tourism as a strategic priority for economic diversification, with investment in infrastructure, international connectivity, hospitality and conservation-led tourism.

The press conference will explore how these ambitions are translating into developments on the ground, the opportunities emerging for international travellers and the travel trade, and the country's plans for the years ahead.

Ruth Westrik, African Parks – Iona National Park – discussing conservation, wildlife restoration and sustainable tourism development in one of Angola's most remarkable wilderness landscapes.

Simone Micheletti, Managing Director, Luiana Plains Safaris – sharing insights into the development of safari tourism and new opportunities to explore Angola's remote wildlife areas.
